Fred Grimwade , Chairman

Fred Grimwade, appointed as Chairman on the 1 March 2016. Mr Grimwade has been a Non-Executive Director since November 2010, and in July 2015 was appointed Acting Chairman. He is a Non-Executive Director of Select Harvests Limited, Chairman of CPT Global Limited and is a Principal and Executive Director of Fawkner Capital, a specialist corporate advisory and investment firm. He was a Director of AWB Limited from 2008 – 2010 and has held general management positions at Colonial Agricultural Company, the Colonial Group, Western Mining Corporation and Goldman, Sachs & Co. He has a broad range of experience in strategic management, mining, finance, corporate governance and law. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Australia, Life Member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Martin Purvis , Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director

Martin Purvis, a mining engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the Resource Sector. Martin’s career started in the deep-level gold mines of South Africa and since that time he has worked in a wide range of corporate and operational roles at Executive and Board level. He has worked in a number of multi-national mining houses in a broad range of commodities and been the CEO of both listed and private companies in Australia and Singapore. Martin is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Ken Nilsson , Executive Director Project Development

Ken Nilsson, Executive Director Project Development - joined Troy in 1997. Ken has over 35 years international mine construction and production experience. Ken was responsible for the construction and development of Troy's Western Australian operations at Sandstone. He then relocated to Brazil to oversee the building of the Sertao Mine in Goias state. In 2007, Ken led the team responsible for the relocation of the Sertao plant and the development of the Andorinhas Mine. He subsequently relocated to Argentina and managed the development of Troy's Casposo operation. He is responsible for operations at the Karouni Gold Project in Guyana.

John Jones , Non-Executive Director

John Jones, Non-Executive Director, stepped down as Chairman effective 3 October 2008. John was elected as Chairman in November 1988 and has overseen the development of Troy from a junior Western Australian exploration company in the early stages through to a dividend paying gold producer with operations in Australia and overseas. John has been a prominent player in the gold mining sector for over 30 years with a long list of successes.
